You must come to your appointment in good health and with a clean face, no makeup or mascara, or we will kindly book and charge you for a new appointment. If you come in with lashes that are unworkable for example due to poor aftercare, having less than 50% of your lash extensions, or if it has been more than 21 days since your last fill, you will only be able to use your remaining time for a lash removal and book a new appointment for a full set. In the event of not preparing adequately for your appointment and not using the remainder of your appointment time as above you will be charged an appointment cancellation fee upon rebooking.
No foreign fills (eyelash extensions done by another salon or practitioner). All lash sets from other salons must be a new full set. If you are coming with a foreign fill, you will need to book a removal service followed by a new full set.
Our Lash Packs allow our valued customers to save on upcoming lash fills and schedule in advance with us for no worries and no fuss. These fills must be booked up to a maximum of 14 days apart or will be subject to a $25 service fee. KB Lash Packs are not transferable and non-refundable.
Waxing: If you are using Retin-A, Accutane, Retinoids, tretinoin, acne treatments or any topical facial medications you must not use these 10 days prior to your wax. This can cause bruising/scarring. If you have done a facial such as microdermabrasion, derma planing, please book your appointment at least 2 weeks later. Anything sooner can cause irritation. If you choose to wax before a facial it must be done at least 2 days prior to your facial service appointment. Your hair length should be 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch to allow the wax to hold your hair properly.
Spray Tanning (Before): We recommend taking a shower no later than 5 hours before your appointment. Shave, wax, and exfoliate the skin at least 24 hours prior to your appointment, to allow the amino acids to reconstruct as DHA needs amino acids to develop. Additionally, pores need time to close before the application otherwise it may leave dark spots. Do not use lotion, gel, wax, shaving cream, or other oil-based products as they could leave residues on the skin and prevent the solution from developing correctly. Do not wear makeup, cream, sunscreen, perfume, or deodorant the day of the appointment. Moisturize the skin days prior to the session (not the day of). The application can be done with or without undergarments or bathing suit. We recommend you wear loose and dark coloured clothing when leaving your appointment.
Spray Tanning (After): Skin pH fluctuates, so results may vary. Avoid activities that provoke sweating or contact with liquid during the development period and wear long and covering clothes in inclement weather. Do not apply cream or makeup on the skin during the development period. If you will be sleeping with solutions on, we recommend wearing long clothes to bed. Wait 8 to 12 hours or 1 to 5 hours before showering depending on the solution (please ask your practitioner for details). Rinse the whole body and face thoroughly, until the water is clear. For the first shower, we recommend not using soap. Moisturise the skin daily with an appropriate lotion. Excessive sweating, jacuzzis or saunas, taking long hot baths or showers often can cause faster fading. Do not wax areas where solution has been applied for the duration of the result. Use gentle facial cleansers, no oil-based or exfoliating products. Avoid lotion, soap, and body wash containing mineral oils, petroleum and alcohol. Do not exfoliate the skin for the duration for the result. When the tan starts to fade, exfoliate the skin again in order to remove the old tan residues.
